About

From 16px to 36,000 SF, I bring a wide range of creative experience.

For over 12 years, I was the primary designer at SentryOne, a software company, and served as Creative Director for five of those years. I helped shape the SentryOne brand — from its earliest user interface designs, through a major rename and rebrand, to its award-winning headquarters. My team focused on supporting marketing and sales initiatives. I developed advertising campaigns and product launches from concept through execution. I also designed and maintained multiple generations of company websites, landing pages, rich HTML email campaigns, social media campaigns, presentations, and trade show experiences.

Following the acquisition of SentryOne by SolarWinds ($145M), I continued contributing to the creative team as a Senior Designer, leading high-level brand and environmental design initiatives. In this role, I collaborated with our in-house creative team to support corporate communications, HR, and a global marketing organization of more than 200 professionals. I was responsible for design approvals, led the events design program, and mentored junior designers.

Beyond graphic design, I served as lead designer on large-scale branded interior environments as well as boutique retail spaces. I am comfortable working in three-dimensional space and at architectural scale, with a strong understanding of materials and fabrication methods — critical to delivering accurate, build-ready, problem-free exhibits and installations.

As a freelance contractor, I’ve designed and contributed to many meaningful and engaging projects. I previously owned a small studio agency and continue to operate with an ownership mindset focused on efficiency, accountability, and budget responsibility. I also have experience both buying and selling creative services.

I’m well versed in developing comprehensive marketing and communication solutions, brand systems, corporate event production design, and branded environments.

I’ve been creative all my life — making a living at it since 1990. I’m based in Southern California.

I love the psychology of design. I think marketing, business, creative and technical.
